Yiannis Catering is a family owned business with over 40 years experience in the catering industry. The origins of the company started in the early 1970’s with a young man and nothing but a suitcase and the desire to start a new life and succeed.

From humble beginnings, Yianni then began his career in food and managed some of Sydney’s finest restaurants including The Summit. He established two businesses in Bondi and Martin Place in the early 1980's and then moved into the education sector starting at Mount Druitt Technical College.

In the later years, the addition of his two sons enabled the business to grow and diversify across different educational institutes and the corporate sector. During this period, the business expanded its operation from 4 to 13 colleges. These locations spanned throughout the Sydney metropolitan area from the south west of Granville and Campbelltown, the east of Randwick and Ultimo, to the north-west of Meadowbank and Ryde.  

The successful expansion of the business was due to a modern and contemporary approach to food delivery and service. The focus was to ensure each college was serviced according to its local demographic by providing fresh food, cooked daily by qualified chefs.

Currently Yiannis Catering manages 7 locations throughout Sydney and has a growing clientele in corporate catering. With their sons, the family continues to work together to provide simple, delicious food.
